Information and communication technologies
in service of socio-constructivist project-based learning
and digital creativity by students

IDÉFI CréaTIC has two objectives: to question and develop creation (as a production and learning process) and to emphasise digital technology within teaching, based on the central role it plays in all human activities. 5 , 300 students have been invited to produce social innovation with today’s digital tools: designing and inventing relevant, sustainable practices, creations and services.
Almost 200 theoretical and practical modules (workshop-laboratories, international mentoring) have been constructed jointly within 50 master’s courses in the humanities, social sciences and arts, with 313 researchers, artists, digital creators, 165 national and international partner institutions (laboratories, museums, theatres, companies, local authorities, associations etc.) to respond to changing sectors of activity and anticipate professional training by encouraging interdisciplinarity and an active awareness of international developments.

CréaTIC has enabled the development of new training formats and innovative digital tools designed along a continuum between research, experimentation, training and professional roles. They can be seen as evidence of an interdisciplinary scientific field to be constructed on the basis of emerging societal challenges.
